Yes, you can earn ERC-20 compliant HUR tokens when you write nice things about yourself. In order for us to be good to you, we need you to be good to us :
Be truthful Write about who you are and what you actually know. It’s the best way we can think of to ensure that the right Project Owner and the right Developer find each other.
Do a good job We’re not demanding Pulitzer Prize writing levels, but we’re not going to be awarding tokens for gibberish either. Think you can earn tokens with a string of random characters? Here’s a non-random string of characters:No you cannot; we’ll be checking.
That said, when we see an honest effort; we reward with honest tokens. So, with that out of the way, let’s talk about how the token earn/redeem cycle works in general. When you complete a token earning activity, such as filling out a new section of your profile, you become eligible for tokens.
Think of the eligibility as “Reward Points” that can be redeemed for HUR tokens, at a one-to-one exchange. Each profile section gets you a new batch of points. As you get closer to completing your profile, you cross the “point threshold” and can redeem your points for HUR tokens, which can be used to purchase items on our Marketplace. You should be able to pass the threshold during your first session. When you redeem your tokens, you’ll be asked to add your Ethereum Wallet Address to your profile, if you haven’t done so already.
Next, you’ll go through our Identity Verification process, as described in our Know Your Customer (KYC) article. With those two checks (both of which are one-time events) behind you, your redemption request will be sent to our administrators for review. Once your work passes the “gibberish test,” your HUR tokens will be sent to the wallet address specified by your profile, and you’ll be ready to go shopping!
